Fortune befriends the bold.

Jumping in to the unknown has become my thing. I was so anxious as a kid that I didn’t speak to a teacher until I was 10. At 22 I went to Italy on my own to learn Italian. I was terrified and burst into tears when I finally found my way to the University. That was when everything changed. I realised that everybody has the same fears and that jumping in and confronting your fears is the best way to wipe them out. And so, here I am, about to graduate with a Bachelor of Teaching in Secondary English. Four weeks to go and the anxiety is kicking in again…
